Monumento a Garibarldi Parma

Located in the central square from which it takes its name, in front of the Governor’s Palace, it is a monument made of bronze in 1893 by the sculptor Davide Calandra. It depicts Giuseppe Garibaldi standing with his hands resting on the hilt of his sword, on a high base decorated with three bas-reliefs depicting the defense of Rome, the battle of San Fermo and the landing at Marsala.

The restoration work was carried out during the year 2011.
