MECNA “Mentre nessuno guarda”

Murales realizzato per Mecna da Richard Wilson – Festa del Perdono – Università statale – Milano

Milan, Oct. 21, 2020. After the wall portraits made in the United States with subjects such as Will Smith (Philadelphia) or Stevie Wonder (Detroit) and Cristiano Ronaldo in Madeira, British artist Richard Wilson creates in Milan the portrait of Mecna for Universal Music on the ONE wall in Via Festa del Perdono.
The work, with an area of about 130 square meters, placed between the entrances of the State University with its imposing figurative magnificence, thrilling fans of the rapper for the launch of his new album “Mentre Nessuno Guarda,” but also delighting wall art lovers for the technique and inspiration with which it was created by one of the world’s most famous wall portrait artists.

The mural was created on a wall that is perfect for hitting an absolutely interesting and often elusive target audience in the center of Milan, with a mode akin to the communication models peculiar to the Millennials and, above all, Post-Millennials generation, the so-called Generation Z on which brands have a huge interest both in terms of products and revenues.
