Chiesa di Santa Maria della Pietà Venice

The Church of Pietà, so called because it is located next to the old orphanage located in Calle della Pietà, is also called the church of Vivaldi because during the 17th century, the composer Antonio Vivaldi lent his work at the orphanage. It was built between 1745 and 1760 based on a design by Giorgio Massari but the facade was completed only at the beginning of the 20th century.

Its restoration began in September 2014 and is currently underway, ONE in partnership with REMEDIA is contributing to the restoration of the facade.
