Teatro Regio

Turin’s Teatro Regio is the lyric theatre of the city, as well as one of the most important of the country, and one of the most renowned italian theatres in the european and international scenes. First built in 1740, it was destroyed in a fire and rebuilt in 1973; only the front remains from the original version, presently protected by UNESCO’s Residenze Sabaude, enlisted in the Human Heritage List since 1997.
