Chiesa del Santissimo Sacramento di Roma

The Church of the Santissimo Sacramento is an oratory in Rome, in the Trevi district, located in Piazza Poli, along Via del Tritone.

The church was built between 1576 and 1596 for the Confraternity of the Santissimo Sacramento of the nearby Church of Santa Maria in Via; it was restored by Carlo Rainaldi in 1681; it was then completely rebuilt in 1727. When Via del Tritone was opened in the 19th century, the building to the right of the church was demolished, mirroring the one still existing on the left side, thus breaking the harmony of the structure of the entire complex.

The interior of the church has a single nave; it preserves 19th-century frescoes by Luigi Martinori, a result of the restoration carried out by Tito Armellini between 1865 and 1867; on the main altar there is a painting by Francesco Trevisani depicting the Holy Family.

The Fountain dates back to an idea of ??the architect Giuseppe Valadier who in 1823 designed a completely new structure with the construction of the central fountain and positioned at the four corners of the obelisk as many marble lions in Egyptian style from whose jaws a jet of water falls into a basin, arranged on a short staircase on which the entire monument is placed.

The restoration carried out in 2015 is part of a larger project by the Municipality of Rome for the recovery of 4 important fountains to which ONE contributed.

Palazzo della Ragione di Bergamo

The property is located in Piazza Vecchia in the Upper Town, which, for centuries, was the political center of the city. Located opposite the Palazzo Nuovo, and next to the Palazzo del Podestà and the Civic Tower.

The palace was built at the end of the 12th century, between 1183 and 1198, a time when the first municipal realities began to develop, and in fact in fact represents the oldest municipal palace in Italy.

At the end of the communal era, with the arrival of the Republic of Venice in the first half of the 15th century, it was used almost exclusively as a place where justice was administered, hence the name “Palazzo della Ragione.”

This is one of the first sponsorship interventions curated by ONE.
