Chiesa degli Scalzi Venice

The church of Santa Maria di Nazareth, or church of the Scalzi, owes its origins to the settlement of the Discalced Carmelites in the lagoon city at the beginning of the 18th century. It is located in the Cannaregio district near the Venice Santa Lucia train station. Today it is a national monument characterized by colored marbles and sumptuous Corinthians that give a feeling of opulence and wonder to the visitor.

Its restoration began in August 2015 and is currently underway, ONE in partnership with REMEDIA contributes to the restoration of the facade.
